The Mad City Church Alpha Course...
Mad City's Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore
the Christian faith. It's a relaxed, non-threatening, low key,
friendly and fun atmosphere. Alpha consists of a series of talks over 10
weeks looking at topics such as "Who is Jesus" and "Why and how
do I pray?" After each talk we divide into small groups for a
time of discussion.
Alpha is for everyone, especially:
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
- Newcomers to the church who want to "get connected"
- Those who want to brush up on the basics
The ten week course is free and includes a study guide and meals each
evening. There is a weekend retreat which cost $85.00 per person, which
includes Friday and Saturday accommodations plus meals.
Alpha classes are held every Tuesday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM starting September 9th, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4011 Major Ave. Madison.
